This one was immense. It was also a dual effort (and not by "one of the guys" at the blog). Like the Puzzle Fantastica, this one is very difficult to re-post in its entirety. Luckily, Dave made a great graphic with links embedded to each game. I'll reprint the Press Center, then, which includes…
You've been waiting patiently. It's almost here! PRESS CENTER | UPDATED BRACKET GAMES TO BE PLAYED NEXT WEEK (April 2nd to 6th, 2007) While the first two rounds of chemistry play were hosted here, Acid vs. d-orbitals will be hosted by The World's Fair and Fossil fuels vs. Erlenmeyer flask will be…
PRESS CENTER | PRINTABLE BRACKETS Even given a weekend to come back to equilibrium, some chemistry fans are still perturbed by some of the results of first round play in the MORTAR AND PESTLE bracket. FTIR's upset win over NMR has many a Monday morning spectroscopist splitting his peaks trying to…
As we head into the Science Spring Showdown Sweet Sixteen, it seemed prudent to turn to some experts for their predictions on the two remaining games in the chemistry region, Acid vs. d-orbitals and Fossil fuels vs. Erlenmeyer flask. (Of course, we won't soon forget the exciting first and second…

Jim, We're apologize for lack of notice and thank you for asking us...we each (Dave and I) hit a mid-to-late semester snag at the same time that, unfortunately, then coincided with the Va Tech tragedy, which ended up putting us off by a few weeks. We're back on, with new announcements and the final games, very soon. Thanks for the patience, and again, sorry for the delay. Ben

Please finish this tournament somehow. I know it's been awhile, but this is pretty much the funniest thing I've ever seen!

Yes, we will. Definitely by the end of 2007, or else we'll have to go into space-time stuff which is hardly our strong point.
