Which is about $25 billion at current exchange rates, or about 2*GDP as it was last year...
At 8%, this requires $2 billion p.a. in interest servicing, and another couple to pay back principal. Or maybe about 1/3 of GDP is the economy doesn't tank too badly.
Latest plan to get out of this, I hear from Top People, was to Win Eurovision every year, for the next century, and have a continuous stream of ABBA like performers...
