Sex While Sleeping Is Real, And May Be No Joke

It is a tiny study but the preliminary results are intriguing. The article does not go much into underlying biology, but it touches on possible legal ramifications. If walking, eating or driving while asleep is possible, why not having sex? After all, you don't even have to get out of bed. What do you think?

Yet another piece of evidence for the futility
I'm tempting the fates by putting my words above the fold this time.

This may be weird, but I am someone with sexomnia (though I never knew it had a name). On some occasions I've actually woken up in the middle of sexual activity with my partner. It's a bit disconcerting, to be honest.

On one occasion, I made sleep-advances on someone I wasn't involved with; but I didn't find out about it until some time after the fact.

Sure. I've read about documented cases of people engaging in such activity. Like you said, people with parasomnias can engage in a host of other purposeful behaviors while asleep.

I learned about this when mentioned in an article about a man mowing lawn while sleepwalking (no, sleepmowing) - naked.

Weird, my husband claims I do this...I've always thought he was just teasing me...now I'm beginning to wonder!
