Here is a cool microbiology blog, if you can read Slovenian language (I can get the main idea of the post, but not understand every word). This blog is about science in general and this one is about food science.

I think it would be interesting to compile a list of science blogs written in languages other than english...
I've seen some in French, German, Italian, Dutch and Russian. I am assuming there are some in Chinese and Japanese but I wouldn't know. I hope that some of them read English-language science blogs and will let themselves be known - I'd like to blogroll them even if I cannot read them.
That's what I was thinking. I have two Spanish language blogs on my blog roll (I know just enough spanish to know they are legitimate science blogs) and have been puzzling over how to get more in other languages...
I've a couple of Spanish science blogs on my list, but despite long searching it's difficult to find more of them. Maybe there aren't many, maybe they are not properly indexed/tagged. Time for some comprehensive all-language science blogs index? Perhaps Seed could help there (since they are eyeing the English ones anyway, and those are the majority).
Btw, I've been considering starting one (science related blog) of my own, but (among other reasons for stalling, like fear of losing too much time with it) I haven't found a convincing bilingual blog format (and I'd like to write some, perhaps most, of the posts both in Spanish and English). Coturnix, thou O great explorer of blog-land... any advice on that?
I've seen a science blog which has every post written twice - once in English, once in French, so that is one solution.
