We had manual pipetters, battery-operated pipetters and an automated pipetter in the lab. I have no idea who the manufacturer was - must have been one with the best price when we were shopping. So, what do you think - will this be effective?

Absolutely! This is one of the funniest videos I've seen in a while. What makes this one particularly effective is the fact that I didn't even know Eppendorf made automation - now I know and I don't think I'll ever forget that "it's called epMotion"!
If I ever need an automated pipetter, I know who I will think of first.
