This is a repost from the old ERV. A retrotransposed ERV :P I dont trust them staying up at Blogger, and the SEED overlords are letting me have 4 reposts a week, so Im gonna take advantage of that!
I am going to try to add more comments to these posts for the old readers-- Think of these as '…

Its Halloween time, and we just got a BRAND NEW FRANKENSTEIN ERV! To prime you all for that post, heres a repost on an OLD FRANKENSTEIN ERV!
Remember, ERVs are junk. These are not zombie viruses. Scientists are not taking totally…
(this post is me laughing at Sternberg, intermittently talking about ERVs, ask Qs if Im not clear-- sorry, laughing so hard, must share this joke as well as I can between snorts)

Maggie Koerth-Baker is a Twin Cities based journalist and science editor at Boing Boing. She has bee a guest along with me on Atheist Talk Radio, and I hope to interview her early next year in relation to her forthcoming book, which I am very excited about. Meanwhile, you can see Maggie on Dr.…

Iâm seeing this for tonight (where you are, that is, itâs "tomorrow" where I am!) :-
"The question of whether fish feel pain. Guest: Dr. Victoria Braithwaite, Professor of Fisheries and Biology, School of Forest Resources, Pennsylvania State University."
Somehow I don't think you're talking about fish feeling pain :-)
Got it figured now.
Those pigs are from NEW ZEALAND, not Australia!! Hrrrumph.
Great interview.
You're not on twitter?!! (Maybe a smart move - it can eat up a lot of timeâ¦)
Nice work with this interview. You speak fairly fast. Toastmasters international is a great resource if you plan on doing regular public speaking like this.
You both covered a lot of ground in a short time. I found your comments on retroviral disease markers intriguing. Feel free to discuss this topic on your blog.
Good job, and the tinkle of dog tags in the background provided a nice homey touch that I miss.
I just now started listening. I love your voice, it doesn't sound at all like I expected it too, but I'm a big fan.
In the education/academic domain, you and Dr. Kiki need to go viral in every middle school and high school science classroom! You are dynamite on video...one incredibly informative and stunning genetic package. I would have appreciated images of you working in the lab and maybe a few images of ERVs, or something, popping-up once in a while. The interview did cover a ton of ground...and left me wanting to know more. ERVs are VERY COOL!
Very nice interview.
Abby is going to make Zombi-Frankenstein viruses and use it to take over the world forcing the Atheist on us ALL. oh wait I guess I would be cool with that. You think PZ has some supper smart cephalopods hanging around as the Atheist Navy?
