And I dont have a problem with LeBron. From what I understand, he did some charity event for Durant, asked Durant to play some exhibition games during the lockout, and frankly, if OKCers are going to ‘hate’ a player, we ‘hate’ Metta World Peace.
This week:
"I thought you liked LeBron?"
I HATE LEBRON!!!!!!!!!

In case you havent heard, the OKC Thunder is playing the Miami Heat for the NBA championship this week (until however long the series goes).
And the entire state of Oklahoma is FREAKING OUT.
EVERYTHING is blue/orange/navy. If it aint, were painting it.

In one of the craziest drafts I've ever seen, the craziest move of the night belonged to - who else? - Isiah Thomas. I've given the numbers before to demonstrate Thomas' world class incompetence as an executive, but let's recap: 3 years ago he took over a 35 win team that was $40 million over the…
As we head into final four weekend, they're starting to hand out the end of season awards. The US Basketball Writer's Association split their player of the year award between JJ Redick and Adam Morrison, while the AP gave it to Redick, with Morrison finishing second. I suspect the Naismith and…
As long time readers of this blog know, basketball is the one sport I really am crazy about, college basketball in particular. But over the last 2 weeks, I've been glued to the TV watching the Pistons do what everyone, including me, assumed was impossible - beat the Lakers for the NBA championship…
Poor Thunder never made it back home, LOL.
Providing that they can resign all their players and avoid injuries, they should be better next year with more experience. The main difference between the two teams is experience, especially in the playoffs. Let's recall that this was LeBron's third trip to the finals and, I believe, also Wade's third trip to the finals. There is no substitute for experience in a situation like that.
Of course, the Thunder was fortunate that the commissioner vetoed the trade of Chris Paul to the Lakers or the Thunder might not have gotten past them.
Probably the worst thing about LeBron having won this year is that /sp/ will never be the same again. No more >LeBrick, no more >LeBeta, no more >LelBron, no more "How he king if he have no ring?", etc., etc.
Of course since I'm a Pats fan it will get better if the Patriots go 19-0 before Brady retires. I don't what /sp/ will for itself once Tim Brody is no longer Forever 18-1.
