1) This content was generated here, under the aegis of Science Blogs.
2) I am not a "contributor" to paternityzone.com.
3) Taking an RSS feed and making it look like regular content without attribution isn't cool.
4) You should ask before you take.
5) We don't need to talk about this if appropriate measures are taken, you know what I mean?

For the past week, we've been conducting a little experiment with Cognitive Daily. In the past, we've had several readers complain that we don't include the full post in the RSS feed for CogDaily, so last week we published every post in its entirety on RSS (if you don't know what RSS is, I explain…
The 2006 Society for Neuroscience Meeting is approaching (in October), and I just wanted to repost this about the Dalai Lama's speech at SFN last year, from the "archives."
First, this post is a summary of online accounts from people that heard the Dalai Lama's speech at the Society for…
I'm at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN at a completely fascinating (so far!) conference on feminist science studies. Because of the free Internetz, I'll try liveblogging the sessions I'm in, but may get distracted as it is (as I have mentioned) completely fascinating.
Here's some of…
You may have noticed a site called "New York Articles" (http://nyarticles.com/) which "aggregates" content from a bunch of different blogs, including this one as well as a number of other scienceblogs.com blogs. It copies and pastes everything that is in the RSS feed, i.e., everything that is…
Razib, This sort of thing would both flatter(in a way) & enrage me if i were a blogger. They've got quite a nerve if they haven't even linked to you or acknowledged you in fashion, in addition to it being flat out web plagiarism. ScienceBlogs has your back, they know where the work originated. Apart from this being indecent, it's probably unlawful. You should get a response from them(paternityzone) soon.
Shouldn't the ScienceBlog staff do something about? It is a violation of copyright.
i think it will be OK if they just stop doing it. no need to go the legal route if we can resolve this....
Cute. ;) GlobalCloning.com is ripping of my content right now. We sent them a DMCA last week but nothing yet. *sigh*
I'm having the same problem with a site called the Yogacara Network, who appear to be regularly reproducing my content.
they stopped with this post. so i think they got the message. you might try the same tactic.

Sorry my friend but this is a joke. We wrote a comment for this thread on about the eighth which you chose not to post, that's fine, we understand that you didn't want to be mugged. The fact that you then have the audacity to suggest that we got some kind of "message" is most troublesome. For as long as you make your feed available on syndic8.com you can expect it to be published on other blogs, including ours.
