A vocational college student in Finland, named Matti Juhani Saari, has murdered nine people at the college he attends in Kauhajoki. He nearly botched his own suicide but is not dead in hospital. This case is extremely similar to the Finnish school shooting from last year. If the shooters were serious gun nuts, emphasis is on the 'nut', not the 'gun'. Both shooters used their first and only gun, a .22 caliber training pistol.
