I did not let Amanda see this story. I just turned the TV off and said "Oh, I think the fuse blew, honey."
That's very cruel of the parents; poor kids. It's like naming them "Stupid Moron" or something. Stories like this always remind me of Noel Coward's "What's Going to Happen to the Tots?"
