Father Knows Best. Depending on the father, of course

Skepchick Evelyn (who also comments here now and then) is writing an interesting series of posts that consist of interviews by her of her dad, an Nuclear Engineer, regarding what is going on in Japan. I think this link is probably the best way to get to them.

Speaking of Skepchicks, you should check out this post. It's amazing. Yet mundane. You will, like, totally LOL. Hebbo.

I used to follow skepchick on RSS but I found most posts irrelevant or silly. I follow about 50 blogs and cut out ones like that.

Skepchicks' blog is more of a commenting community forum kind of place than an essay-rich blog. The best thing, though, are the skepchicks themselves. I'm fortunate that a few of them are my friends and neighbors, and many of them gather in the Twin Cities in July.

If you want to read more substantive stuff, check out their individual blogs, off the skeptchick site.

Hey Greg! Thank you so much for the shout-out.

Because Skepchick has become more of a commenting/linking sort of site (rather than essay site), I have moved my geology posts to my own blog:

http://georneys.blogspot.com/

I still cross-post on Skepchick now and then because I think some Skepchick readers would like some of my articles, which are usually geology-related.

Also- sorry if my posts on your past nuclear post were a little upset-sounding. There just has been so much misinformation circulating the net.

I hope people like my blog! I hope that the nuclear crisis in Japan calms down soon so that I can (mostly) go back to posting about rocks.

Greg, I usually overlook your typos, but you will want to correct one particularly unfortunate one before certain other bloggers who have done so in the past go all whargarbl on you again.
