NextGen Climate State Of The Union Ad

NextGen Climate is putting an ad up, in at least some markets, during the State of the Union Address. Not sure how that works exactly. During halftime? Anyway, here it is:

More like this

Tonight, President Obama is going to address a joint session of Congress. It's the same time of year that the State of the Union Address is given. It's the same format. It's expected that he will cover the same kind of topics that you see in the State of the Union. There's even going to be a…
I'll admit it: I like reading George Soros' books. I mean, here's a guy whose made a godzillion dollars in the financial markets, has been behind political destabilizations/stabilizations worldwide, taken on a U.S. president (can you guess which one?), and yet, in spite of this, can write a book…
Via Tara, I see that a major media organ has finally contrasted Bush's "I Heart Science" message in his SOTU speech with the reality of how science has been treated in this administration: Starting when he was a presidential candidate in 2000, George W. Bush has often assured voters that his…
I know, I know already. We're getting creationist and religious ads appearing on the right sidebar. Seed has farmed out some of their ad space to a generic ad provider, which doesn't pay us much and which stuffs in ridiculous ads from any old desperate wanker who wants to buy some attention. In…

It is a hoax to say: "Now they tell us climate change is a hoax." No one is really saying that.

tom, it is a hoax to claim you are an honest participant in the climate change discussion, yet that's what you and the rest of your fellow deniers try to pass off.

"No one is really saying that."

Huh? Google "climate change hoax."

And BTW, if it were true, that would make it a straw man, not a hoax.

tom, the website global climate scam says it in every article.
Newsmax: global warming is a sham.

Many of your fellow deniers make the same claim.
Are your lies always this easy to debunk?

@Tom Harris
Then how come I run into people claiming _exactly that_ every time I read the comments on a CBC article even vaguely related to the climate?

Or people claiming _exactly that_ every time Phil Plait posts a climate article?

Or the multiple claims that amount to "it's a hoax" I found looking at the front page of Watts Up With That?

So, are you ignorant of what people are saying, or are you just lying?

I deny that I am a climate change "denier." I am a denial denier.

I see you folks don't share President Obama's goal as he just said:

"A better politics is one where we debate without demonizing each other; where we talk issues, and values, and principles, and facts, rather than “gotcha” moments, or trivial gaffes, or fake controversies that have nothing to do with people’s daily lives.”

"So, are you ignorant of what people are saying, or are you just lying?"

Safe bet: the latter.

Trying to deflect the question by winging about tone noted.

My question stands: Are you ignorant or are you lying?
