The Creation According To The Bible

tags: , , , ,

Richard Dawkins spent so much time crafting his arguments, but comedian Ricky Gervais did an even better job refuting the creation story simply by reading the Bible aloud. [9:57]

More like this

Ricky is refreshing.

I'd forgotten that God lied to Adam and Eve, and that He'd created the serpent that would be their undoing, and that He was as careless a protector as babysitter who lets a toddler drown in the pool.

And now we know the Original Sin was God's own -- the bastard lied.

We should file a class action suit against God, angling to snag all His worldly possessions.

I've always found Genesis to be slightly surreal. Even more so than Revelations, in some ways.

And Ricky Gervais....oh, I am *such* a fan. He's funny!

Gee... We all came from a big bang, from disorder to
order that sounds logical or is that just the magical dust of Evolution. Look at all the objective evidence of Creation
and evolution before making a decision on your eternity,
its the most important decision you will ever make.Gods not asking for your money or to be perfect but to receive the free gift of eternal life by trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.billgraves@cox.net

Gee, Bill... let me list the most obvious problems with your statement. 1) The Bible's creation story is logical? It's mainly your lack of imagination that forces you to believe the universe had to be created by... someone because... it just couldn't have happened any other way. Or is it just because that's what the Bible said? 2) Scientific theories of the universe's creation have nothing to do with evolution as it's applied to life. 3) We do look at the objective evidence, and it doesn't support the Bible's story. As for evolution, if another set of ideas comes along that better supports the facts, then evolution will be replaced. Until then, it's the best we have. 4) God may not ask for our money, but there sure seem to be plenty of people who do, all in the name of God, of course. 5) Millions of people who have no substantial problem with evolutionary theory also have accepted Jesus as their lord and savior. So what's your problem?
