Water was flying in all directions from rain filled indentations on Warbler Ridge in Central Park as a flock of American Robins enthusiastically took advantage of several temporary birdbaths after the rain ended.

...The reason people think that Robin Red Breast is a sign of spring is that we believe that robins fly south for the winter and north for the summer, so when we see them, it must be getting near summer.

Thanks. The robins were shy and did not appreciate my intrusion into thier abultions. I had to keep my distance and was only able to take three shot. Only this one "worked."
