Nope, the black puppy can definitely fix the economy. The other one just screams "The fundamentals are fine!"

That's too much!!

HA HA. The black puppy looks ready to lead. The tan puppy looks totally confused. The black puppy needs a flag pin on his collar. The tan puppy must be without $3000 of makeup. The black puppy is preparing for the debate, studiously - good dog. The tan puppy is on his way to the doghouse to hide - baddd dog.

Six weeks and we'll find out who gets to be top dog.

Does the tan dog seem a little gray around the muzzle to you?

I read that the tan dog is suspending this ad campaign to work on the nation's kibble crisis.

Oh, and the tan dog's running mate is a bitch.

Ha ha!
When you've stopped laughing ;-), read the content - Nature's US election special is great, though I say so myself. http://www.nature.com/news/specials/uselection2008/index.html
It is all free to read until election day. As well as some great news coverage about the scientific perspective, there are some nice features, eg scientists advising the candidates which key science book to read (we invite suggestions from readers).

The "anon reader" wasn't a cat by any chance? From a cold climate? ;-)

PS Just in case my "ha ha" looks as if it concerns the comment immediately above mine, it doesn't. I think that comment by "JS" about the tan dog's running mate is pathetic.
My "ha ha" applies to the post.

The Beast was not involved, Maxine. Gerald suspects that it might have been one of your own colleagues, but I told her that that wasn't his desk (she's never seen his desk, naturally).

I bet that tan dog can't even use email! What's he afraid of, anyway?

And if the tan dog says he doesn't know much about duck hunting, should I assume that the black dog's duck hunting abilities are automatically superior, even though he's got no experience?

Notice, they're both dogs... need I say more.
