Here's the most recent carnivalia for you to enjoy;
All Things Eco blog carnival, number 24. Okay, I admit it, there is one story there that has particularly piqued my interest based on its title alone; "Dumpster Diving for Charity."
Festival of Frugality, Veteran's Day Edition. This is all about frugal living -- something that the current economic situation demands from all of us. And no, by frugality, I do not mean reducing the number of pedicures you get from once per week to once every two weeks.
Review Bloggers carnival, 30th edition. This is a collection of reviews of just about everything you can name, from books to consumer product reviews, written by the real consumers.
Carnival of Family Life, Veteran's Day Edition.
Everything Family, issue 7. This is a more practical everyday life blog carnival about all aspects of family life.

No, the current economic situation demands that you live lavishly, to stimulate the economy and provide jobs. It's being Green that demands you live frugally. Any resulting schizophrenia is your problem. Glad I'm not a lefty.
right, bob -- was that good for you? i certainly hope so.
even the top economists agree that the reason we are in the current fiscal mess is due to the lavish living that you are claiming this economy needs -- so you, like the mindless right-wing 'droids, are wrong. glad i'm not a living in a fantasy world.
From today's NYT, rag of the right-wing droids:
Buying Binge Slams to Halt...Suddenly, our consumer society is doing a lot less consuming....With Wall Street edging back from the brink, this crisis of consumer confidence has become the No. 1 short-term issue for the economy....Mr. Obama has called for a stimulus package, which will make up for some of the consumer pullback.
Did you know Obama was one of us RWDs when you voted for him?
considering that most people's lavish spending is the result of having lavish credit lavished upon them in the past, and they now have had that credit withdrawn suddenly, it seems to me that most people cannot spend lavishly, and some of us cannot spend at all. so the only people who can fix the economy by spending lavishly are those who have the funds to spend, and at least 50% of the population does not fit into that category. so i suppose your next comment will be to accuse people like me, who are struggling to merely stay housed in a creepy little rathole, as being unpatriotic because we are not fulfilling our duty by spending beyond our means -- nevermind that we CANNOT even if we wanted to do so.
