This fun and interesting video makes me want to go to Boston for a daytrip so I can go to the fabulous Museum of Science! [3:28].

Out the door - meaning one
...in Iceland that is.
Got in at about 6 am, the weather was lovely, a mild frost, and not too windy, just brisk.
so I took the bus to town and walked to where I'm crashing. Very refreshing, just the thing to wake you up after a long flight.
Occasionally, I day-trip from the borders of legitimate science and into the boundless holiday that is the esoteric. I don't know exactly why I take such pleasure in pseudo-science; perhaps it is to keep my work safe from those who might portend I am out of my league with the real stuff.
Looks like a lot of fun. I've always made a point o\to go to the Ontario Science Center (http://www.ontariosciencecentre.ca/) anytime I get back East to Toronto
They didn't even mention the world's largest Van de Graaff generator! They do regular "lightning" shows with it. The MoS is pretty awesome, and after the Larry Summers women-in-science brouhaha a few years ago they had a couple of days where women got in for free. That's the last time I went; I've since moved away from that fair city.
This video was really exciting to watch! I really think going to museums like this one really make people enjoy science instead of the boring stuff like trying to memorize the periodic table for a test they have that week. This way people can really experience science first hand and plus the gift shop just puts the icing on the cake!
