When I pointed my camera at this perky juvenile Northern Cardinal she surprised me with her savvy and sophistication. "If you want any more images", she seemed to intone politely but firmly, "Please call my agent." ...But seriously folks this little beauty is one of the youngsters I love to visit in Central Park's Shakespeare Garden. She has two brothers who are as much fun to watch as she is as are, lest I forget to mention them, her parent.

Thank you for authoring this blog. I love the pictures and I enjoy the articles and insights. I'm soooo sorry to hear you are sick and broke your arm! What a bummer! And just at the holidays, too. I hope your friends/family who are close by will lend an arm and take good care of you for a while.
