An Engineer's Guide to Cat Yodeling

tags: , , , ,

This amusing video is a special little feature just for my Finnish friend, Juuro. Two professional engineers illustrate how to get your cats to yodel. None of the cats, humans, or engineers were mistreated in the making of this film. They were however, slightly annoyed. [6:31]

Genius! And I thought I was the only one who enjoyed playing the Angry Bagpipes.

I only have broadband at the office. Luckily, I employ headphones, and have single occupancy. In addition, I have trained myself to be able to laugh silently, when laughter is unavoidable, but unprofessional noise is not recommended.
Now to get the cramps out of my jaw muscles.

... "angry bagpipes"... Ben, a charming term!

I stumbled upon this, and I must say, that was the single most amazing musical experience of my life... Thank you, I had no idea engineering was so useful.

Another Win for Science

Wow.... just wow. Do you really have nothing else to do? Why not spend time solving relevent problems that plague our society, instead of sticking a finger in your cats arse in order to produce the aforementioned "yodle?"

I'm a Mechanical Engineering Senior, and you two are possibly the most pathetic people I've ever seen... and spending 4 years in an engineering school, I've come across my fair share of losers.

^ cool story bro

Oh get over yourself loofapalooza. You can cry to yourself of how horrible society is because of people not making any difference, or overcome your own hypocrisy of wasting your time and so called "knowledge" on commenting a video to complain. Make a difference, then we'll talk. Credentials only get you so far.

Totally Funny! Thanks for the great laugh at the end of a long week of electrical engineering! I'm now just wondering if it is possible to yodel two cats at the same time - on under each arm??? Have you considered doing a frequency response and grouping cats into various types such as sopranos or baritones? I see this as a new field of engineering research. Keep up the good work.

I spend way too much time on-line to be amused by just any old supposedly funny video but this had me actually laughing out loud so much that I drew a crowd and had to replay this clip for everyone else. Bloody well done. Oh, and Ben, the Angry Bagpipes is the coolest term for a cat ever.

A SCIENTIST IS ONLY A PERSON THAT ENJOYS RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTS, LIKE SO MANY EVERY WHERE. A THOUGHT AND ANYONE IS A SCIENTIST. ONLY SOME ARE LUCKIER THAN OTHERS THEY GET FUNDING AND PAID FOR IT. BUT IN MY BOOK, I'VE NOT RECEIVED MONEY, BUT ANSWERS AND WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GIVE MOST TO EVERYONE SO THEY COULD PREPARE AND SAVE THEIR PEOPLE. HAVE A NICE DAY. MIKE

good to see intelligent, serious-minded folks having a bit of fun.

one can feel sorry for loofapaloser, tho. . .

I laughed until I cried. Engineers are usually a weird hybrid of the strangest and funniest aspects of society, and you guys are no different. Well done, sirs.
