Tallinn is the capital and largest city of Estonia. It was first placed on a map in 1154 and archeologists have found the first traces of human settlement in Tallinn's city center that are approximately 5000 years old.

Unrelated question - Why don't the pictures on your blog show up? As far as I can tell photos and video links on other blogs on sciblogs, and www in general, show up pretty well. If I hit the 'larger view' link your graphic shows up. Ideas?
i think everyone else is hosting their images on the SB site, whereas i am hosting mine on flickr, which seemed fine for awhile, although flickr is prone to administrative attack (as you saw when they deleted five years' of my blog awards that once were in my left sidebar). i do have a "larger view" link below the image that you can also click on, or you can go to my flickr page where the image is hosted and once there, you can see all sizes).
did that answer your question? if not, ask again and i'll try to provide the answer.
(i am leaving for the airport in half an hour, so am a little rushed. sorry).
