Free Books To My Readers

Everyone loves free books, right? Well, I know I do, and since I've got a huge stack of books in my apartment that are seeking a loving home, I want to share them with you. These books are duplicates of review copies, advance reading copies and uncorrected proofs as well as some books that I purchased. All books are in excellent (like new) shape, unless otherwise noted. I am offering them to you several times per week for the next few months, free of charge, although I will ask you to pay the cost of the shipping envelope and postage for mailing each book to you. Below the jump is a list of books that I am offering to you on a first-come first-sent basis;

Prairie Spring: A Journey Into the Heart of a Season by Pete Dunne. Advance uncorrected proof. Paperback.

Trace Your Roots with DNA: Use Your DNA to Complete Your Family Tree by Megan Smolenyak and Ann Turner. Paperback.

Land of the Lost Souls: My Life on the Streets by Cadillac Man. Advance reading copy. Paperback. [my review]

The Devil's Teeth: A True Story of Obsession and Survival Among America's Great White Sharksby Susan Casey. Paperback. [my review]

Birding Babylon: A Soldier's Journal from Iraq by Jonathan Trouern-Trend. Hardback. 2 copies. [my review]

100 Science Words Every College Graduate Should Know by Editors of The American Heritage Dictionaries. Paperback.

Finn Family Moomintroll by Tove Jansson and Elizabeth Portch. Paperback. (NOTE: This is an extra copy! I am keeping my original copy).

The Meinertzhagen Mystery: The Life and Legend of a Colossal Fraud by Brian Garfield. Advance reading copy. Paperback. [my review]

Seeking the Sacred Raven: Politics and Extinction on a Hawaiian Island by Mark Jerome Walters. Uncorrected proof. Paperback. [my review]

If you want any of these books, let me know in comments and I'll send email asking for your address so I can get these books shipped ASAP. I will be giving away a similar number of books every few days for the next couple months until they have all been dispersed. Any remaining books will be donated to the NYPL.

I'd love to get "The Devil's Teeth."

I'd love "Land of the Lost Souls". I will also share it with the medical students here who staff a clinic for the homeless and indigent citizens.

I'd like to get "Seeking the Sacred Raven"; presumably you have my email from the comment?
