hmmm, must be in the Phasianidae, perhaps a grouse or a francolin... wait, where'd it go? oh ok, it moved... let's go with a Coqui Francolin (Francolinus coqui/Peliperdix coqui), another sexually dimorphic species so this is a male because of the absence of black stripes on the cheek (female), reddish-brown head, barred underparts, grey upper bill, yellow legs
Coqui Francolin - male, with the yellow legs without spurs, and the photo shows just that hint of the black and white barring on the chest.
Spiny hedgehog grouse? Pineapple bird? Animated pinecone?
Coqui Francolin (Francolinus coqui.) Note the all-ochre-colored face and neck with a rufous ear patch. The back has distinctive white vertical slashes and the sides (just visible) have horizontal black streaks. This is a male.
