Bockenheimer Turm bei Nacht.
Bockenheimer Warte, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
So why am I in Bockenheim again? I went here because I had an appointment to get a bank account. After complaining mightily about this enormous waste of time (I've never had to make an appointment to set up a bank account before), I was surprised and most pleased to meet a personable banker who visits NYC frequently (he has family there and is returning on 15 May for a one week visit, sigh, I miss NYC!)
I deposited my paychecks for moneys earned the past five months of writing into my bank account and then I went to Cafe Extrablatt (across the street from my bank), where I accomplished little, except to drink lots of coffee, followed by some merlot, before setting out to catch the tram to go home. Fortunately, the public transit in Frankfurt sucks, so I had plenty of opportunity to snap some photographs of my future home, the Bockenheimer Turm.
Just so you know where to find me after my heart has been broken.
