This is an astonishingly gorgeous day in Frankfurt am Main; warm (but not too warm) and everything is exploding into bloom under an impossibly blue sky. I wish you were here with me because I would bring you to my favorite coffee shop in Bockenheimer Warte; Cafe Extrablatt, where they not only give me FREE wifi, but they also cheerfully provide powerpoints (that's a "plug in" or an "outlet" to you Americanos). How different from NYC!

By the way, if (when) my spouse suddenly comes to his senses and dumps me, I've already decided I will flee to this tower, where I will take up residence and officially change my name to Rapunzel (unless I've torn all my hair out first).

Nice photo! My appartment is only 150 meters away, but I missed that view and the spectacularly beautiful weather today - I came home too late from the office. :-( BTW, as you like german bread: I could bring you some of the best I've ever eaten. None of that synthetic ready-made convenience blend stuff, but real bread made by a real bakery. Just ask. :)

"I could bring you some of the best I've ever eaten"

I should read what I'm writing before hitting any "Post" buttons... Of course I didn't mean to bring you anything I've already eaten. ;-)

Yeah, that is really a nice place. I pass the tower on the way to my lectures every day. (Well, not in the past month, but starting again next week.) It looks great by night as well: http://bit.ly/bcU3hh
