The 2007 ice extent minimum is like the 1998 El Nino. The following years just give people a chance to say there's a reversal in the trend.

This is a fantastic video. Thanks for posting. If only people understood how complex the earth's climate processes are. Just because the temperatures and climate of the United States are not seeing much change does much mean that changes are not occurring elsewhere. The rapidly decreasing extent of arctic sea ice is, excuse the pun, a chilling example. It's a shame that the public discourse and level of education on the issue is at such a low level.
