Smith, Sununu and Collins are just about the last 3 moderate Republicans left in the Senate.. or at least of those who are running this time. With them gone, I forsee a period of increase partisanship and vicious infighting in the Senate, forestalling real efforts at progress.

I think he's way too optimistic on Franken-Coleman, honestly.
