DeSmogBlog will be putting out a book and it sounds like the publisher is ready for a title. Our co-blogger there, Richard Littlemore is taking suggestions and I encourage Intersection readers to add your ideas to the mix...

Head over to provide feedback on the titles already being considered, vote, rewrite, or submit your own contenders. The three top possibilities win one of the great climate science books from the DSB library.

Here's the list so far*:

Climate of Change
A look into the world of global warming science and it's opposition

Climate of Denial

Climate Science Fiction
Exposing the PR Campaign to Deny Global Warming

Courting Climate Chaos
Exploring the PR Campaign to Bamboozle the World about Climate Change

Exxon's Lickspittles
The big lies and greater frauds of the global warming denial movement

Fossil Fools
The PR Tactics used to Bamboozle the World about Climate Change

Lies and Ignorance

Manufacturing Doubt
Exposing the PR Campaign to Confuse People about Climate Change

Spinning Climate Change
Who Convinced Us to Ignore Global Warming

The Smogscreen
How polluters push climate fraud as fact

You Can't Spin Mother Nature
Exposing the PR Campaign to Deny Climate Change

* bonus points for the reader who correctly identifies which one I submitted ;)

I like the second one. Hints at another title of a book I'm less fond of.

Climate of Denial sounds pretty good - with (as John points out), just a hint of the late Michael C.
Manufacturing Doubt has possibilities as well.

I'm not going to guess which one Sheril thought up, but I'm hoping its not 'You Can't Spin Mother Nature', which is a great title for an article in Mother Jones, but doesn't want me to buy the book. As for 'Exxon's Lickspittles' - its lawyer time!
