Vote for Blogging Scholarship

OK, so apparently there's a blogging scholarship, and it just so happens that someone who comments here at Mixing Memory, Jennifer Wong of Cyberspace Rendezvous, is a finalist, as is fellow Science Blogger Shelley Batts. You should go vote for one of those two here. I'm going to endorse Jennifer, not only because she comments here (which automatically makes me like you, even if your comments are critical), and I'm loyal like that, but because she's a big Soul Coughing fan, and anyone who thinks Ruby Vroom was a great album deserves a scholarship. Good luck to both Jennifer and Shelley, though. I hope one of them wins.

So it seems there's a $10,000 blogging scholarship, and ScienceBlog's own Shelley Batts has made the cut! (Second year in a row!) She's one of 20 finalists and, I believe, the only science blogger among the 20. And she could really use the money. And wouldn't it be way cool to have a woman…

Thank you for your support! Although I haven't commented a lot lately due to schoolwork, I have been reading and perhaps it's an overlap of interests, but I gain a lot of knowledge and insight from your posts. Not schmoozing, just being honest. :-)
