Rose Aphids - Macrosiphum rosae
Tucson, Arizona
It's fair to say that without the encouragement of my mother, who allowed all manner of newts, snakes, caterpillars, tadpoles and ants into the house, I would not have gone on to become a biologist.
Thanks Mom, and happy mother's day!

Here, here! Don't forget your mother's famous Science Club!
Happy Mother's Day, Mrs. Wild!
Regards,

Steve! Hey, it's been a while.
Would this be the same Steve that used to hang out with Alex (at age 8?) reading insect guides for fun, and who once on a ride back from our place on the hill slipped a live garter snake through the hole in his pantleg, a snake which was never seen again? I hope it's you! XXXMrs.W.
Ahhh, being kids with nature was so fun!
