Video game series, actually. There have been 12 different games released under the Final Fantasy banner (not counting spin-offs and side stories), with a 13th currently in development. And it's one of the most popular series in video game history.
That would be Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
Mainly because it had no connection to any of the then-previous or -current Final Fantasy games, aside from the title. (The CGI work, OTOH, was almost universally acclaimed.)
A later Final Fantasy CGI film, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, was better received, primarily because it was based on the most popular installment of the game series, Final Fantasy VII on the Sony PlayStation.
