Pretty soon you'll need shoes for those cute little toes. Also, then comes another big decision: leash or no leash. I was a no-leash mother until I almost lost my toddler at the mall. Then I had a foxhole conversion and we wore mutual wrist leashes until he was old enough to protest and promise to stay with me.

Now's he's 14 and I'm back to losing him at the mall. But now he has a cell phone so I can let him know that I want him back with me.
