Some bonus cute for your weekend:

Here's SteelyKid apparently deciding to be a wizard. She can wave a stick and babble in what might as well be fake Latin with the best of them-- don't try to tell her she can't.

More like this

I was staring out the diner window, watching it rain, when Jimmy the werewolf slid into the booth behind me. “We got trouble, boss,” he said, and I spilled coffee over the back of my hand. “Asshole,” I said, not turning around. “How about a little warning next time?” “Don’t want to let on I know…
As seen in yesterday's post, SteelyKid got a grill this weekend: This led to one of the cutest toddler anecdotes to date, which I'll put below the fold for the sake of those heartless souls who don't like cute kids. SteelyKid was running around with an ice cube in a paper cup, because ice is…
OK, they're not that tiny. Here's your cute baby video for the weekend: Kate blowing bubbles for SteelyKid and Emmy: I really don't need to say any more than that, do I?
Kate is off at Wiscon (or at least en route-- her flights are all screwed up), and SteelyKid is off at Grandma and Grandpa's for the weekend. Which means I don't have an Appa picture this week, but in honor of the pagan origins of the name of the day, here's a picture of SteelyKid enacting a scene…

Scary.

Especially considering that Emmy used to be her sister before she annoyed the girl. Transformed into a dog and all memory of her ever being a girl replaced by memories of her being a dog. I think deep down you really know this. Consider those looks Emmy gives you. And the way Emmy loves but fears her.

I, for one, welcome our new adorably cute Wizard Overlords.

She just fixed my watch! I went into the kitchen, grabbed my watch, and said 'bend, bend' (for some reason)- and it started ticking again!

That was when I noticed the extra fingers.
