Open Thread

Time for a new thread.
I've munged up the last iteration of the endless thread! While I try to patch it up, it was time to update it anyway. So resume here, with this video of what Maori science classes are like. (Current totals: 12,037 entries with 1,308,294 comments.)
Benjamin mentioned this evil little ditty in the last iteration of the chatty thread, so now I shall inflict it on you. (Current totals: 12,009 entries with 1,304,491 comments.)
Stephen Fry is a lucky man to have someone willing to make that big an investment in him…except, well, that kind of commitment is actually common in the human species. Who would the Pharynguregulars invest a few decades of their biology to? (Current totals: 11,980 entries with 1,301,366 comments.)
You all ignored my last command to dance, so we shall try again…this time, with Engrish. (via Robert Popper) (Current totals: 11,969 entries with 1,299,548 comments.)
I may need to check myself into a mental hospital, threadlians, because so help me, I like Lady Gaga, even the weird pretentious gynecological bits at the beginning of this video. Maybe especially the freaky alien gynecology. If you're not going to dance, I at least hope you're commenting in your underwear. (Current totals: 11,956 entries with 1,296,991 comments.)
Heed ZDoggMD, all you denizens of the endless thread, and vaccinate! (Current totals: 11,946 entries with 1,294,946 comments.)
Finally, they've kicked that sappy Spielberg off the property and are redoing ET with the edge it should have had in the first place, and the endlessly patient thread will be waiting in line. (Current totals: 11,936 entries with 1,292,769 comments.)
Oh, man, 14 year old articulate atheist kids — I'm feeling old. I don't know if she'd even be allowed to participate in the vulgar and voluble thread. (Current totals: 11,932 entries with 1,291,666 comments.)
Way past time for another open thread
They're getting hard to keep track of — but they do provide fodder for the thread full of fierce heathens. (Current totals: 11,914 entries with 1,287,918 comments.)
Yeah, it's an anti-Catholic cartoon. Laugh, threadketeers, laugh. (Current totals: 11,900 entries with 1,285,406 comments.)
Matt Dillahunty shows the godless followers of the thread how to hammer on believers. By the way, there are a few of us, including Matt Dillahunty, who will be at the American Atheists Convention in Des Moines, Iowa on 21-24 April. Who else is going? (Current totals: 11,893 entries with 1,283,498 comments.)
I'm sure many of the prattling horde will agree with this sentiment: we love libraries. When I was growing up, we lived within a few blocks of the town library, and I spent many happy hours immersed in that place. Apparently Alan Moore agrees with me. I have no idea why Death is hovering over Moore's shoulder. I think it's part of the atmosphere that follows him everywhere. (via Boing Boing) (Current totals: 11,878 entries with 1,279,436 comments.)
I racked up a series of courtship videos for Valentine's Day — actually, my wife picked them all out, so now you know something about her taste in porn — and I got email from a few people mentioning that they're all alone today. So here's a lonely ant for the community thread. (Current totals: 11,867 entries with 1,277,525 comments.)
The happy mob needs some basic physics, and here's Mr Deity to explain it all to you. (Current totals: 11,849 entries with 1,275,154 comments.)
I have been disastrously distracted, and the thread to end all threads is overdue for a reset. Contemplate this: a 23 year old Steve Jobs about to appear on television…and he's nervous. If only I felt nauseous before my talks, maybe I'd be a billionaire today. Isn't that how causality works? (Current totals: 11,847 entries with 1,274,051 comments.)
I'm doing some morning travel today, and won't be able to access the interwebberies until this afternoon, so I'm closing the perpetual thread instance a little bit prematurely — this never happens, he said. To compensate for the horrible awful stinky video in the previous thread, here's something better and more inspiring. (Current totals: 11,839 entries with 1,272,058 comments.)
The battle is over, you godless chattering monkeys, and it wasn't our reasoned arguments or our ferocious onslaught on religious institutions that finally led to the collapse of Christianity. The War on Religion was won by this video: Game over, man. Game. Over. (Current totals: 11,831 entries with 1,270,301 comments.)
It's like messages raining down from everywhere all the time…what's one more? (Current totals: 11,818 entries with 1,268,150 comments.)
