(raw image) You can just barely see a large ocean-going Silja line vessel in the right side of the picture that was taller than the island when it floated by a few moments after I snapped this picture. Unfortunately, you can see the reflection of the ferry in the window glass that I was photographing through. Bummer.

(raw image) As far as I know, this is a fully functional sailboat that travels from one port to another, where it sets up as a restaurant for awhile, before moving on. Boston's fatorangecat studio has a wonderful blog where photographer Li Ward posts some of her most spontaneous work (like the time her furry subject got all tangled up with Cameron Diaz). Ranging from the absurd to the poignant, Li's photos capture what we love best about our pets.
