New Banners II

OK still fiddling away with the banners.

Here are the two latest ones:

I've distributed the banners among the various sections (Latest Post, Individual Entries ...) I've also been advised that if I choose to have multiple banners, I should "stick to a single font". Courier New seems appropriate (if you don't know why, you've obviously not used much of NCBI's site).

I'm going to intermittently keep track of the comments I make on other blogs. I'll spare you the totally trivial ones, but I don't guarantee this to be especially interesting. Less than a week after its official launch, ResearchBlogging.org now has 78 active, registered users. We're already bigger than ScienceBlogs.com! Of course, many of our users are ScienceBloggers -- these projects can definitely work together. We can also get much bigger. Over 200 bloggers have used…

I agree with the comments on the previous post, about the Matrix-like theme. Of the two you have here, I tend to prefer the bottom one.

As far as the fonts go, I think that once the banner is rendered as an image, it does not matter if there are many fonts.

I like the banner on the top of your homepage. Glad you have got rid of those moving letters, they made my eyes go funny.
