Well you guys have been pretty good at guessing the mystery campus. But in addition I'd like you to tell me the answer to the riddle/hint. (Last week no one really explained what the first part of the riddle meant - even after Bil posted an additional hint in the comment section.) So here is this…

Northwestern alumni? Like Stephen Colbert? That map really doesn't resemble 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

It is the Oregon National Primate Research Center and in the upper NW corner is the Oregon Health Sciences University's Oregon Graduate Institute, School of Science and Engineering. The line slanting through the bottom half of the map is the MAX light rail and you can see the Willow Creek MAX station in the SE corner of the map. (I used to commute from that station.) Within two miles of this site are the two Intel campuses, Nike headquarters, Tektronix campus and low-density sprawl all built on flat flood-prone swamp land.
