Apparently, there is more to this story than the first news articles revealed. Yes, Mrs. Lambert was fired and the Timothy from the Bible was cited, but only as a stupid cover-up.

There must be something pathological about this. I don't see how firing someone because she's a woman -- especially if that's just a lie to cover up the real reason -- is better than admitting she was being a bit of a troublemaker opposed to the church's new direction?
