Anthology update

Now that the Anthology is arriving at people's homes, getting read and even reviewed on blogs, I hope that more people will take a minute to post reviews or ratings on the actual book webpage. In one week, it has moved from non-existent to 33rd to 27th on the Lulu.com top sellers of the week list. I am also working on having the book more widely available, e.g., on sites like amazon.com and in independent bookstores.

The day before yesterday, my copy of The Open Laboratory 2007, the second annual science blogging anthology, arrived in the mail. So yesterday, Reed and I met at a coffee shop and looked it over. It looks great! Reed knows what he's doing and is a perfectionist, so of course the book looks…
Well, The Day has arrived! The Open Laboratory 2007, the 2nd anthology of the best science blogging of the year, is now up for sale on Lulu.com! Yes, you can buy it right here! In a few weeks (and I will be sure to tell you), the book will also available in online and offline bookstores. You can…

The second science blogging anthology, the Open Laboratory 2007 is now up for sale on Amazon.com. As the profits will go towards the organization of ScienceOnline'09, it is the best if you guide your readers to buy it directly from Lulu.com. However, it would be really nice if some of the readers…

when I have read more, I will write more.
Does Lulu do any promotion of the books or is that up to authors? Considering some of the drecky stuff people grab to read on long flights, you could improve the world a little by talking Hudson in to stocking the book.

My copy just arrived in the mail today! I've got to resist the urge to start reading articles right away since I've a full plate of readings and work already, but I plan to carry it around with me to show it off and point others to Lulu.com page.

I'll read through the preface and introduction and post a review of the book itself on my blog in a few days. I've already read many of the articles (and look forward to reading them again), but it'll be interesting to see how they translated from online to print media.

Again: Great work, Bora!
