Since I always have time to let you know about developments in my life, I feel compelled to mention that today is my fortieth birthday. I'm even happier, though, that today is the last day of classes (not counting finals, of course).

I, too, reached a milestone birthday this year that we probably deem significant since we have 10 fingers. Interestingly, if we have 6 fingers per hand and thus base-12 oriented, my birthday would still have been a significant one. No, I'm not 120 years old.
