Janet started a meme, which started the whole world meming...
Ten weird things about me? Hell everything about me is weird.
1. My first full novel read was Brave New World. I was eight.
2. As a kid I wrote to all the Soviet as well as the American space centres looking for information. I'm sure there's an intelligence file on me aged 12 somewhere. I kept a card index of all cosmonauts and astronauts. I probably knew more than the FBI.
3. My first introduction to philosophy was Søren Kierkegaard. I read nearly all his works. I regained sanity about my mid-20s.
4. That was while I was doing a theology bachelor's degree. I topped my year but lost my faith midway, so I switched to philosophy, although history was a near-thing.
5. I worked full-time while doing my BTh, my BA, my computing certificate and my postgraduate MA and PhD. It took me 25 years.
6. I hate sports of all kinds and flavours. I grew up in Melbourne, the home of Australian Rules football and never saw a game. I never even watched cricket, although I played it as a kid. I stopped when it became clear that no matter where they put me on the field, my head acted as a local attractor for the ball.
7. I read all kinds of science fiction, the trashier the better. I recall reading that my favourite short story by Arthur C. Clarke, "The Sentinel" was going to be made into a film by a little known director named Kubrick, and waited impatiently for four years for it to come out. I was the only person in Melbourne who saw it not stoned - seven times.
8. I blew up a clinker brick incinerator full of green grass clippings by pouring two-stroke fuel into it to get it going. I was ten feet away from it when it went up, and none of the bricks that flew past me happened to hit me. I lost all the hair on the back of my head and got thrown six feet. I was 14. I wanted to do it again, but thought it might be pushing my luck.
9. I was addicted to opiated hash for six months and never knew until the supply ran out. I also managed to have two really bad acid trips, in which I thought I was dead and in hell.
10. I cannot remember names to save my life. I've even been known to confuse my kids' names, and they are different genders. Despite this, I was once a public relations officer for an institute of technology.
And that's just the start.

I would love to participate in this silly meme, but I wasn't able to think of a single thing that was weird about me.
Now, if I'd been asked what was weird about other people, then I could write a novel.
There's your #1.
My mom once called me Walmart. That was quite a day.
Your item number 5 is an inspiration to me. Thanks for sharing your weirdness.
Oh, I'm sure if you ask, you'll get plenty of suggestions.
Bob
The really weird thing about this is how similar my list might be to yours.
Regarding #7: how many times did you see it stoned? :-)
No more than another 8. And of course I now have the DVD, although for some reason my kids aren't as impressed as I was back then.
