Actually, burning it would probably be better than this. A barge overturned and dumped a loaded diesel truck in waters just metres from Robson Bight, one of those areas where the term "ecologically sensitive" just doesn't do seem to do justice.

Seriously, I love orcas to pieces. I live on Vashon Island, former foster home of Springer, and we got very attached to our little orphan girl. Watching her spyhop to 'visit' us at the ferry dock, or roll and wave her fins at the ferries, you couldn't resist her sweet nature. I'm glad that she was able to go back to her pod, though. Busy shipping lanes are no places for babies.
