Merry Christmas

tags: , ,

This is the Christmas tree located in my "watering hole", where I will be located this very evening, in fact, hanging out with friends. Unfortunately, I am not sure if I will have free wifi access on Christmas or New Year's days since the public libraries are closed on both holidays, but if I do find free wifi anywhere, it will be here!

I am having a great time, listening to christmas music in the pub and now, at this very moment, the bartender is playing some really fabulous music, Rumpelstiltskin, composed by one of my friends, Matt, who is a graduate of Juilliard, founder of DreamArtists and who is present here tonight. He just gave me a copy of his DVD, although, unfortunately, I cannot find it on the internet, otherwise, I'd link to it so you all could buy a copy for yourselves!

I guess that some of you are wondering what the holidays are like in a nuthouse. Perhaps you think they are depressing because we are separated from our families? Or maybe you think we sleep all day? So far, my Thanksgiving is great. I am writing on the computer, with freshly polished fingernails,…

Hey, GrrlScientist. Today I'm only a few miles away from you, in Bergen County. (My daughter and I have come up from Virginia to keep my mom company because my dad has had knee replacement surgery and is in rehab.) Have a great time tonight and a Happy New Year.

GrrlScientist,
Merry Christmas from the subtropics of SE Texas, 1500 miles away, where it is a little chilly this morning, 50 degrees F.
