Diseases Are Caused By Sin (Not God)

In a live webcast, Edward Current explains how God created a perfect world and had nothing to do with creating disease. But letting just anyone write in and comment probably wasn't the best idea [3:51]

More like this

You all know that I've been a big Edwards supporter since he first ran for Senate. I have met Elizabeth enough times to consider her a friend. I am clumsy when it comes to describing my emotions. So, I'll do what I do best - collect the best and most important links for you to read:
On Thursday night, I posted a large linkfest about the press-conference by John and Elizabeth Edwards and the revelation that her cancer has returned. Those were mostly first responses.
Zack Exley: The Revolution misses you Aldon Hynes: A different focus

Hmmm. I'm not impressed by the bum fluff under his lip.

The Sin Causes disease hypothesis seems to be similar to the one put forward at the Creation Museum (they claim that dinosaurs only became carnivores after The Fall). I haven't been there yet, but JanieBelle's grouchy friend Lou pointed out a photoset that suitably mocks the place.

This is fantastic! Not close minded ehh..... hee hee.

Maybe he should really think this through and not just rely on his brain coming up with an answer in 5 minutes......(god?)

@Emma: Current is being considered a Poe seeing how he brings his arguments.

While some disease may be caused by "sin" (and sin is subject to further interpretation)---there are many who have not sinned; young children and babies who are born with or aquire horrible diseases for example. This cannot be explained by sin, but can be explained by genetics and medical research
