Babies are hard. I'm going to guess a killdeer.
Killdeer is my guess as well.
That looks like a Killdeer.
Must be very small deer. Or doe they start out as killbambis?
The orange rump and eye ring point to killdeer alright. We had even smaller ones run through our yard one year.
