In Search of a Guest Blogger

I'm going to try something new here at "The Intersection," hoping I don't regret it.

I'm going to be traveling to Italy for a friend's wedding roughly May 21 through May 28. And I've sworn that, for once, I'm not bringing my computer along.

So for that week, rather than having the blog go dormant, I'd like to have a guest blogger take my place. If you'd like to be that guest blogger, leave a comment or send me an email (and give at least some explanation as to why you're interested).

Note: Assuming that multiple folks want to take over here for a week, the guest blogger I pick will be the one who I think will do the best job in terms of guiding an intelligent, elevated discourse related to science and politics. And given the new direction this blog is heading, an interest in weather and hurricanes certainly doesn't hurt either.

If I don't find anyone with these qualities...well, then, no guest blogger. But I'd really like to find one.

This time around, we're talking to Mark Chu-Carroll of Good Math/Bad Math. What's your name? Mark Chu-Carroll What do you do when you're not blogging? Chase my children around.... (I've got a 6 year-old girl and a 3 1/2 year-old boy.) Cook. Chase my children some more. Make bizarrely elaborate…
I'm going to intermittently keep track of the comments I make on other blogs. I'll spare you the totally trivial ones, but I don't guarantee this to be especially interesting. One point of doing this will be to track the ones that "disappear" on various sites (no names for now) that I've found don'…
In all the chaos of having interrupted internet and lots of stormy weather, I never posted a January Anyway Project Update - oops, sorry! So here's an early February one, and I'll try and do one in late Feb. as well, because, of course, I'll definitely be accomplishing double in this short month…

Thanks for the suggestions. How about you, PZ? Full license to criticize the "framing science" idea as long as you bring your traffic with you ;>

Yeah, but I can criticize framing at my place and keep all my traffic there! There's also no guarantee that any of them would follow me here, and besides we really don't need two Evil Atheist/Biologist blogs here, do we?
