The AAAS annual meeting took place February 14-18 in Boston, Massachusetts. Scientists from around the world gathered to discuss ideas, explore emerging trends, and share exciting new research.

Here I am with friends and SD08 steering committee members Matthew Chapman and Austin Dacey.

Photos on the way Mary!

Dr. Mary Mangan was one of the volunteers for ScienceDebate2008 over the weekend. She founded Biological Software Testing Services, Inc. and contributes to 'The OpenHelix Blog.'

A special Thank You to Mary and everyone who helped at the conference from the team at ScienceDebate2008!

Grazie! It was fun. I was just telling someone that it was the first time I ever attended a science conference as an activist--instead of being in the seats or at the mic.
