The little picture of me in the left sidebar was taken on the northeast shore of Arkansas' Lake Ouachita two summers ago. It's a beautiful place where you can experience nature in a peaceful and quiet way. There were several of us who went, and one of them gave me a book of his that he'd finished…
Pheidole creightoni major worker, California After reading a couple times through Corrie Moreau's hot-off-the-press Pheidole evolution paper, I am pleased to give it a thumbs-up. The paper is behind a subscription barrier, so I have distilled the results into an informal summary: Pheidole is…

About forty years ago (as an intemperate high school kid), I once hallucinated ants while tripping. Mind you, this has nothing to do with the species concepts and delimitations posed in my taxonomic revisions!

But Alex, how does a young, clean-living fellow like yourself know anything about the effects of LSD?
