Lots of people ask how SteelyKid is taking to having a younger sibling. Well, judge for yourself:
This is during the Giants-Falcons playoff game this afternoon, but it's pretty typical. When both SteelyKid and The Pip are home, she's always running over to give him kisses and hugs and chatter at him. She's super excited to be a big sister, and that hasn't changed.
Better yet, a few minutes after that first picture, she looked like this:
And, in fact, she's still snoring cutely. We'll wake her up soonish, but for now, we're enjoying the break from constant, exhausting motion.
Hope you and your loved ones are similarly cozy.

It's been a good while since I did any Cute Kid Blogging, due to excessive busy-ness. There's big news among the younger residents of Chateau Steelypips, though: SteelyKid lost one of her front teeth the other day:

A lot of heavy blogging this week, so here's a cute kid picture (as the featured image; click through if you're reading via RSS). In the comments to yesterday's post about college admissions, Joseph Yoon quoted my statement that "I'm somewhat sympathetic to claims that Asians have a difficult position in higher education," and shot back with:

So. Adorable.
I live reading these posts. Thanks for sharing
This are some of the sweetest pictures, ever. Thank you for sharing them.
Just how much she loves her brother: I offered to take her to the library, just the two of us, so we could spend some time together alone. When she realized that the Pip was going to stay home, she insisted that she wanted him and would not be dissuaded.
Those are some of the most adorable pictures I have ever seen.
My toddler approves of these pictures, with excited finger-pointing and audible if non-word comments. Heh.
T., I hope we are not giving your toddler hopes that aren't going to be met . . .
