OMG, has it been a busy few days. I'm just starting the second shift of working today, after an 8-5:30 day of back-to-back meetings, and tomorrow will be all day in a workshop, but I need to share some updatey things, including a belated announcement for the October Scientiae (yay!) below the fold…
OMG I am at ScienceOnline! In (also cold) RTP! And I've now met ScienceWoman! And let me say she is as lovely in person as she is online. And I've met a whole bunch of other folks, but am still trying to sort out the politics of pseudonymity. Hopefully I'll get to post some official blogger…

Hmmm. Well, my sister-in-law remains pregnant. Turns out the contractions stayed at the same pace and strength, and nothing else has happened. Oh well. But now my parents-in-law are visiting her, so hopefully the baby comes this week so they can help. Further updates as events warrant.

Earth Day Baby was born this morning! Ten toes and fingers, mom and baby perfectly healthy. Yay!
