But how do you find an alarm clock with a pleasant, soothing tone? Do they let you test them in the big-box store? You'd have to throw out a long series of strident alarms.
Or do you buy an expensive cd-playing clock radio, and a Muzak version of John Tesh hits? (No, wait, that would be painful, and trigger severe depressive episodes, which would nix that whole "getting out of bed" thing. Counterproductive.)

Now I'll stress out for days, trying to think of some just-right wake-up tunes.
